"Our mission is simple – we want to spread a little bit of love and brighten people’s day’s right across the country, and what better way to do it than with a biscuit!

The story of the biscuits began when a dear friend was going through a really tough time and I wanted to let her know how much I was thinking of her, but nothing seemed quite right to send to her.

Flowers weren’t special enough, and just sending a card didn’t cut the mustard, so instead, in a flash of inspiration, I combined two of my favourite things – baking and quotes – and The Kitsch Hen Iced Biscuits was born!

Baking is my favourite way to spend a day, when I’m not out on the farm with my two  border collies, or trawling Pinterest for some new quotes (I REALLY love inspirational quotes – we even had a quote wall at our wedding!), and the kitchen has always been where I feel most at home.

I’ve always been creative, and somewhere, in the back of my mind, and in my heart, I think I’ve always known there was an idea in me to combine my creativity with a way to reach out and offer encouragement and love and hope to someone just when they need it.

The true joy of what I do is in the biscuits I send out to give someone a bit of edible inspiration, send to make them smile. As well as that, we bake our biscuits for just about any occasion you can think of!"
