CrossFit is a functional training programme universally scalable, meaning anyone of any fitness level can take part. We specialise in not specialising, meaning our fitness is well rounded and consists of cardio, strength, and gymnastics.
CrossFit Oakham is Rutland’s only CrossFit gym. Our gym is probably different from those you have been to before – we have no fancy machines, instead our coach-led sessions use bodyweight movements, barbells, kettlebells, ropes and cardio equipment to create a fitness programme that makes you the strongest, fastest, and fittest you have ever been!
The WOD is central to the CrossFit programme, it’s a daily workout posted by our head coach, the classes for that day will then be based on that workout.
These classes are always coach-led and always in a group environment, the first person finishing stays to cheer on the last.
All of the exercises in the WOD can be scaled so that anyone of any ability can get through the workout and get the maximum benefit from it.
