At Whissendine Windmill you can see all the traditional workings of a mill for yourself.
It was built in 1809 and current miller Nigel Moon bought the mill in 1995. He is welcoming and enthusiastic to visitors. Visiting is a real education.
Whissendine Mill is not only a very interesting place to visit, it is a great place to source your flour and porridge oats. You will be helping to support a local craftsman keep this bucolic tradition alive.
